Ok i got diagnosed with hep c and chirroisis and im 40 years of age ive must of had hep for many yeaars to damage my liver this bad ,i was shocked ive lost so much weight and fatique and was finding it impossible to do my work any more…So i went off on short term disability from work which has green shield and beneifits been there 12 years with out missing much time a few sick days since ive been there, and as of june had to go on long term disibility because short term only goes six month `s now ,,, Going into my 6th month of long term i get a notice im cut off health care and dental with a weeks notice ,im in the middle of my treatment to cure my ailment and cant afford to pay 1000,00 bucks a box for treatment a month ,what do i do doctor nos i cant work i lost 40 pounds on my 190 frame and the meds im on even makes my life more fatqued and all other side affects ,any body have been through any thing like this before with benifits ,or can i have work terminate me and take a severance package that way i wont loose everything i have now ,and have insurance to pay my loans in case i lost my job ….Any ideas would be appreiciated ,do i go on government diability i,ve been working since ive been 17 years of age so been paying pension for years and dont like being home either but have no choice in my sisutation , suffering from lose of appitite fatique no energy and weight lose etc Depressed and dont no what to do Help
